This year, the National Coordinative Body for Corporate Social Responsibility and the Ministry of Economy announced a competition for awarding the National Award for best socially responsible practices of Macedonian enterprises in 2018, realized in the period from 01.06.2017 to 01.06.2018.
At this competition, 15 projects of small and medium enterprises and 23 projects of large enterprises were reported. The largest number of projects were in the category “Venture in the community”, which included 17 projects, 7 projects were sent in the category “Environment”, 6 projects in the category “Relations with the employees”, 5 projects in the category “Market relations” and 3 projects in the category “Ethical management”.
The companies that took part in this competition come from different sectors: service, finance, food industry, pharmaceutical industry, construction industry, metal processing industry as well as health care.
Awarding of the prizes was organized by the Ministry of Economy and the Coordinative Body for Social Responsibility of Enterprises on November 28, 2018 at the Club of Deputies in Skopje, starting at 11:00. The Minister of Economy, as well as the President of the Coordinative Body for Corporate Social Responsibility, honored the participants with a speech. At this event were awarded 9 statuettes and 11 plaques for the “National Prize in 2018 for the best socially responsible practices of the Macedonian enterprises”.
In competition of 25 companies and 38 projects, ELKOLEKT DOO – Skopje, was awarded with a statuette in the category “Environmental Relations” with the project “Be A SUPER HERO”. More than 42000 students from 52 Municipal Primary Schools from 24 Municipalities throughout the country took part in the realization of this project. All of them, in cooperation with the team of ELKOLEKT DOO – Skopje, directly contributed to obtaining this National Award.
