END USER
“End user” in accordance with Article 7 point 16 of the Law on the Management of Electrical and Electronic Equipment and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Official Gazette of RSM No. 176/21) is a natural or legal person, a consumer, who for his own needs, and not for sale, is acquired with equipment that generates waste after use and which he throws out, wants to throw out or is required to throw out.
Legal obligations of the End User
- The end user is obliged to return the waste equipment to the trader, hand it over to a collector at a collection center or at another place for collection and collection, determined at the local or regional level;
- The end user is obliged to hand over the waste equipment that is not household waste equipment to the manufacturer or to a legal entity that has the appropriate permit;
- Before handing over the waste equipment, the end user is obliged to collect it and store it separately so that it does not mix with other types of waste and does not become small or otherwise destroy or pollute with dangerous or other substances, while its re-use or processing would be impossible;
- Household waste equipment that is so damaged that the dangerous substances contained in it endanger or could endanger the environment and human health, i.e. it is left without the most important components, or is contaminated with another type of waste, the end user is obliged to hand it over to a collection center, collection point or waste equipment processing facility.
