Following the last year's eco-action successfully realized in the Municipalities: Gjorche Petrov, Karposh, Berovo, Gevgelija and Bogdanci under the motto "Let's recycle and reward", which resulted in building good habits among the inhabitants of the listed municipalities, Elkolekt decided to continue its activities and this year in the same direction.

From this spring, inclusive of November, Elkolekt launched a large eco-action for collection of waste batteries in 25 primary schools through 11 municipalities in the Republic of Macedonia. The municipalities covered by this eco-action are: Bitola, Kumanovo, Ohrid, Gazi Baba, Strumica, Bosilovo, Kriva Palanka, Rankovce, Vasilevo, Debrca and Novo Selo.

The marketing manager of Elkolekt Zdravko Zinzirov, together with the students from the elementary school "Stiv Naumov" and their physics teacher Biljana Ristoska, today visited the most viewed morning show in the Republic of Macedonia, "Hello Macedonia" on Kanal 5 TV..

The reason for the visit was the eco-action organized at the elementary school "Stiv Naumov" in which 30 kg of waste batteries were collected.

The company Elkolekt marked the first spring day with a visit to the elementary school "Stiv Naumov" in the Skopje settlement Avtokomanda, in order to reward conscientious students for their self-initiative action for collecting waste batteries. The action that the students realized led by physics teacher Biljana Ristoska resulted in the collection of 30 kilos of waste batteries, which the conscientious students did not allow to be thrown away with the other waste and to cause contamination of the soil, underground or surface waters .

Elkolekt started an ecological action for collection of the hazardous electronic and electrical waste in the territory of the municipality of Karposh. In this action every citizen who brings e-waste until December 24 automatically participates in the new prize game "Let's recycle and get reward."

By leaving old and dysfunctional electrical and electronic appliances in the eco-warehouses of Elkolekt, citizens can earn a laptop, TV or vacuum cleaner. The recognizable red eco-warehouses of Elkolekt in the municipality of Karposh are located in two locations, in the elementary school "Petar Pop Arsov" and the elementary school "Vojdan Chernodrinski". Elkolekt organizes this action in cooperation with five municipalities on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia in order to raise public awareness about the need for separate collection of the e-waste.

Companies Ekocentar 97 and Elkolekt as from today to Sunday organize a big action for collection of electrical and electronic waste, which will be held on Magnolija Square in Bitola. All citizens who have old electrical appliances, computers, monitors, processors and other household appliances that will bring them to this action will have the opportunity to get rid of the hazardous waste and at the same time they will become potential winners of many valuable prizes, for which the drawing will be held on Sunday at 12 o'clock.
